After you have placed your booking, you will need to enter more specific information about the pickup (or shipper), the delivery (consignee) and add important supporting documents such as commercial invoice and packing list.
You will have to fill in the following in order to move forward.
Shipper and consignee information
You will be taken to a page where you need to identify the Shipper and Consignee information. If you are adding a contact for the first time, you will need to add the name and address. Once added, select the newly added shipper and consignee from the dropdown.
Shipment summary
Underneath this information, you’ll be able to find a summary of the details you had previously entered. These will show your Goods summary, the chosen route, additional details (HS codes, Incoterms etc), booking details etc.
Important: It is mandatory that you select an Incoterm in the “Additional Details” part.
Incoterms
The Incoterms are a set of 11 individual rules issued by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) which define the responsibilities of sellers and buyers for the sale of goods in international transactions.
You need to select the incoterms of your shipment here before you finally submit the booking.

Supporting documents
The final section that you will have to fill in before your shipment is ready to be processed is the Documents section. It is mandatory to upload Commercial Invoice while Packing List and other documents are optional.
Once all pieces of information have been entered and uploaded, you will see at the top of the page that the shipment status automatically updated.
If it is your first shipment with Yusen Vantage Focus, the status will change to “Pending.”
In this case, our Sales team will verify your account and shipment information before passing to Operations Team for further shipment arrangement.
After Sales team’s verification, our Operations Team will proceed the booking. Status will change to “Booking Received”. In the meantime, you will receive email notification.
If you had made booking on Yusen Vantage Focus Quote & Book before, no verification process will be needed anymore (you will not go through ‘Pending’ status) and will directly go to ‘Booking Received’.
You can view the status by hovering over the shipment status dropdown.
Transit information
You would see House AWB or House BL number in ‘Transit Information’ once Yusen has arranged flight or vessel for your booking.
You can also track your shipment by clicking ‘Track’ tab.
